FOLSOM, Calif. - For those anglers looking for BIG FUN and the chance at winning BIG CASH, that opportunity has just arrived, as Angler’s Press Outdoors, in conjunction with Walmart Inc., is pleased to announce its hosting of the 2020 Walmart BIG CASH Classic - at Folsom Lake!
May 16th and 17th will be the date for this BIG CASH team spectacular, as anglers will have the opportunity to test their skills on one of the most fertile fisheries in northern California, as beautiful Folsom Lake is “home waters” to thousands of bass anglers that reside in and around the greater Sacramento area, and it is no secret that Folsom Lake - in the spring, can produce tons of quality bass.
Held in an elimination format, ONLY 100 teams will compete on day one, and on day 2 (the final day), the field will be reduced to only 10 teams. These final ten teams, aka the “SUPER TEN”, will then move to compete on the final day, and “throw down” in a dramatic drive-by style weigh-in at the Super Walmart store in Folsom, for their share of a 100% payback purse consisting of $30,000 in cash!
Prior to Sunday’s weigh-in, the event will feature a huge Walmart Outdoor Expo, with a FREE Kids Zone, a catch-and-release fishing pond for kids, tons of product demos & giveaways, a BIG BBQ, plus a HUGE hour-to-hour raffle for premium prizes!
